I don't know why we, as parents, continue to buy educational toys when kids like random items laying around the house just as well. A couple weekends ago while in Alabama, we had Kentucky Fried Chicken for dinner and the bucket that the chicken came in became Kyleigh's favorite new toy. She carried this bucket around the entire next week everywhere she went! So I think the next time I am looking for a new toy for Kyleigh I'm just going to drop by the closest KFC and see if I can just buy a bucket! Her other favorite toys from the same week were cat toys. Why do I even bother buying nice, fancy, educational toys!?!

That's always the case! Don't sweat it....this helps them develop their own creativity instead of always having it handed to them. Yes, save those bucks and let them explore!! :)
Of course she would love that - it is a drum, a bucket, and a hat all in one!!!
empty water bottles and fortune cookies in wrappers have been favorites around here!
Seems like I remember someone about that age who will remain unnamed - but it starts with J and ends in essica - who used to LOVE pulling ALL the diapers out of the box and playing with them.....over and over and over again! If you ever came up missing, we knew where to find you....
